Take Their Dog Pictures To Give Them A Good Image On The Web

There might come a time that we want to turn our pet dogs into stars by posting their profile on the Internet. In truth, there are some sites on the Internet that offers a special space on the Web for our beloved pets, and putting their cute dog pictures there will only lead to an increase in their online reputation.

How To Take A Shot Of Your Pet

If you think that taking dog pictures is easy, then you are in for a shocking surprise. Our pets never stay in one spot too long for us to take a good shot of them. We will find it hard to get a good angle when they keep moving around as it interests them -- you might think at this point that they have an instinctive reaction to cameras being pointed at them.

There are two ways to get a good quality picture of your pet:

• Get a camera that sports high-speed shutter settings that will be able to take accurate pictures even if your pet is on the move
• Ask someone to keep your pet occupied while you are taking pictures of them.

Editing Your Dog Pictures

Before you publish your dog pictures on the Web, you might want to run them through a photo-editing program to improve their quality. In truth, there are some beautiful shots of your dogs that may lack enough appeal to increase your pet's popularity on the Web. Such is the case; you can do a little editing project on your pet's photos, like:

• Improving the lighting quality of your dog pictures by boosting its brightness. This is necessary if you want to publish their photos on the Web where your visitors use different brightness intensity on their computer monitors.

• If you think that your dog picture is too dull, you might want to add some effects like a blurred background, increasing color intensity, changing the hues, and so on. Some pet owners add some text to their dog pictures to increase their appeal.

• Reduce the file size of your image by changing it to another image format, such as JPG, GIF, or PNG. (some sites are quite picky with the image format for upload)

• To ensure your dog picture's compatibility on the Web; you might want to reduce its height and width so that your visitors won't have to scroll the page to view the whole thing. In most cases, reducing the total aspect ratio of your dog picture will also reduce its file size as well.
